New Weekly Segment – What if Wednesday!

For a long time I have wanted something that I could do as a regular segment on my blog and yesterday I came up with an wonderful idea. I wanted something that would be thought provoking for my readers, and something that could get you all thinking, having a bit of a laugh and most of all, help break up the working week with a bit of fun.
So – I introduce to you all, “Secluded Habitat’s – What if Wednesdays”. Starting next week, every Wednesday I will be presenting a “What if” topic and my views, thoughts and/or ramblings. These “What If’s” will sometimes be serious, and sometimes be positively insane, and when we are really lucky they will be half way in between so that we can get a mixture of serious and funny responses.
So… for example the topic might be “What if an artificial intelligence being was created that had the same brain and learning capacity as a human being?” Following this I would give my views, this could be what I think might happen to the world, this might be an insane little story, or it could just be something short like a punch line (like my awesome attempts at humor *grins*).
As this is the first segment I have created on my blog, I will need a few weeks to get some feedback and find my “What if” mojo so I look forward to hearing your input. As I mentioned earlier I do want to make it as fun and thought provoking as I can for you all.
So when you see the logo to your left, you know it is time to get your brain into gear and get ready for an installment of What if Wednesday.
For now however I would like to open the floor to ideas for some topics. I have an idea for week one, but I would be willing to push that back if we get some really good suggestions.

I love the idea! My first suggestion is: “What if I lived in Russia? (As opposed to living in Australia?”
And for my 2nd suggestion, “What if I was a hermit?”

Perhaps more seriously, what if everyone spoke the same language?
So many possibilities… don’t think you’ll have a shortage of topics for this one!

@Erin… I somehow don’t think everyone is as bananas about pizza as you are LOL but I do like your second suggestion hehe so I have added that to my list of possibilities too.

What a good idea, I will be reading your what ifs with interest. How about “What if I lived 100 years ago” or a time that you see best suited to you? or “What if I were tranformed into …. a” (female, favorite movie star, favorite top blogger, sports car, a teapot ….)
