Secluded Habitat

Well well well… I am back in Sydney now (apologies for the delay in my follow-up post).

So I guess to sum up the holiday… The accommodation was outstanding. If you are ever heading to Merimbula I would highly recommend Penguin Mews for your stay. They had a pool, ping-pong tables, and the owners had a great friendly demure.

Tim got me out and got me behind the wheel of the car a couple of times, as I am still learning it was great to do in the quiet streets around Merimbula. He also convinced me to get into the pool at Penguin Mews, that was lovely after I got in (especially the day after I we went and played golf).

As mentioned above we did play golf and it was great to give that a go. Seeing the Kangaroos while we were playing golf was a great experience as well, as this is *not* something we would ever see in the heart of Sydney.

I also got to play 18 holes of putt-putt golf when we had a stop over on the way back to Sydney in Bateman’s Bay (do have a look at the photos it was a great course to play on). So if you are ever stopping over in Bateman’s Bay and have a free hour, go and give it a go, it is a world of fun for any age group.

During the trip we also played a few games of 10 pin bowling which was good fun as well (and the monkey decided to join us for that one as well).

Contrary to popular belief we did actually get some time to relax as well which was of course good, Tim and I had a couple of days where we just got to lay back, watch some movies and do absolutely nothing at all.

So to sum it up… a perfect holiday… the company of a great (and crazy) mate, lots of things that we got done, and time to relax as well.

It is good to be back and I should be getting some more good posts coming up soon.
