Secluded Habitat

Well, Tim managed to get us here in one piece *YAAY*. The place we are staying in is spectacular. (I will bring you details later this week).

Unfortunately the Vodafone GPRS quality here is FAR less than usable so all I can really get at the moment is MSN messenger and sloooow text posting. Which means that I won’t be able to post photos until the end of the week. However in the mean time I will bring you some stories of our trip.

On the way down we stopped over at my grandparents for a pit stop and coffee. That was great for them to meet Tim and for us to have a bit of a break. For lunch we stopped off at McDonalds (as *no* road trip is complete without a trip to good old Mickey D’s).

After that Tim let me get in the driver’s seat (as I just got my learner’s permit last week). That was interesting as it is the second time I have been behind the wheel of a manual ever (and have not driven in over 4 years). So I only drove around the block a few times to get a better feel for it and it gave Tim’s legs a rest.

Once we arrived at the apartment we were stoked with the quality, close to the RSL, close to shops, close to everything pretty much. As I said, photos will come as soon as I can but I fear that I will be unable too until the end of the trip.

Well, we are just sitting down to watch a bit of a movie, so I will probably head off… Look out for all the fun that happens this week.
