What do you get when you cross the British with a reality TV show that seems to be getting old everywhere else in the world?
Simply put you get the two outcomes below. Once again these are videos that I have stumbled across on YouTube and that I could not resist sharing with you.
The first is of a *very* young girl (6 years old at the time) named Connie Talbot. She went on Briton’s got Talent to sing ‘Somewhere over the rainbow’, and I have never heard such an amazingly wonderful voice. She made it all the way to the finals and was only beaten by one man… This man is the person in the second video…
His name is Paul Potts, and he works in a mobile phone warehouse. This man is shy, but he packs a voice that you just would not believe. I am not a fan of opera but all I could say when I heard his voice was… “DAMN!!!”.
So without further ado, the wonderful music:
Connie Talbot - ‘Somewhere over the rainbow’
Paul Potts - ‘Nessun Dorma’

Wow… Connie is just amazing. Someone so small with a voice so big to melt the hearts of many. Really touching.
Great post.
I know I have to say when I first heard it I was gobsmacked to say the least.
Thanks for the visit.

Brilliant, thanks for posting them. Of course both had me in tears…don’t do that often with the Idols talent.
Jackie’s last blog post..Oranges, the Taste of Sunshine
Heya Jackie
More than happy too. I have to say that I have never been a fan of Opera but DANG Paul could sing (hence why he won it).
Sorry for making you cry, but at least they were good tears.

Its “without further ADO” you f***ing moron.
Hi Grammar Nazi,
Corrected, next time please use nicer language and you will generally get a nicer response.
